I'm not sure what cam and heads would flow the best and I have been researching the heck out of this on ls1tech and what not. I have a 3000 stall. I like the stall and I dont plan on changing it since I like the way it drives. I was thinking about speed incs head and cam package. Patriot cnc stage 2 ported heads ls6 heads im guessing, 59cc or 64cc with a comp cam 228/228 .588 .588 113 and i would do all the supporting mods (oil pump, timing chain etc.) Is that a good cam and head combo or are there better ones out there?

If your serious about getting a head/cam package I would call Corey Clayton and talk to him. He would be the best guy to talk to and even get the parts through him. He help me with my 383 and I will be going to him again when I build the 408 for the new car

Without a doubt, call Corey and get the right parts that go together. He will tell you what is the best option for you and exactly what to expect.

No problem. He has built two engines for me and many others I know. I am more than pleased. I wouldn't take a car to speed if they paid me. I will leave it at that.

I'm not sure what a cost for the parts would be, that would depend on what heads/cam you go with, but I can do the actual install aspect pretty reasonable. If you are interested shoot me a pm. Once installed you would have to take the car to a tuner of your choice. Corey is a tuner, and I have had good experiences with Straightline Performance as well.
